Aircraft sea freight Greece to Canada

Marinair Cargo Services successfully coordinated the re-export and sea freight transport of a light aircraft from Florina, Greece, to Toronto, Canada. The shipment was managed end-to-end, covering local handling, export preparation, customs formalities, and final dispatch for overseas transport.

The operation started with on-site loading at Florina Airport, where the aircraft components were prepared for safe containerized shipment. Our team supervised the process from the first stage, ensuring correct lifting, careful placement, and secure positioning inside the container. For cargo of this nature, the smallest deviation in loading sequence or positioning can affect stability, handling, and safety during transit.

Transporting an aircraft by sea involves more than packing. It requires detailed planning, accurate weight distribution, and continuous technical supervision throughout the process. Container selection, internal securing, and the overall loading plan must be designed to protect sensitive components from movement, vibration, and pressure points—especially during port operations and long-distance ocean transport.

Alongside the physical handling, Marinair managed the full customs and documentation workflow, supporting a smooth re-export process and minimizing delays. From loading and securing to customs clearance and final handover, every stage was executed with clear communication and tight operational control, ensuring the shipment remained on schedule.

This project highlights Marinair’s capability to manage complex international freight operations with precision, professionalism, and full shipment visibility—delivering reliable results even when cargo requires specialized handling and technical coordination.

Moving complexity with precision.
